CARING FOR YOUR JEWELLERY
Caring for your Anouska Georgia London jewellery is easy.
Take off your jewellery at night and give it it a gentle rub with an absorbent soft cotton cloth.
- If you've been to the gym or at the beach then rinse your gold filled jewellery in warm water and then dry it with the same absorbent soft cloth. Sterling Silver & Gold plated designs should not be exposed to water.
- Swimming pools and hot tubs... The chemicals used are harsh and will damage all your jewellery. If you wear it accidentally clean it thoroughly as soon as possible.
- Exercising.. getting sweaty at the gym is not advised whilst wearing your jewellery as the salt in sweat is not good for any jewellery.
- Cosmetics, cosmetics remover and sun lotion... Put your jewellery on last and take it off first. If you have a day at the beach wearing your gold filled designs, be sure to give it a polish with a soft cloth afterwards.
- Sterling Silver & Gold plated designs should not be exposed to water, lotions or potions.

Cleaning Sterling Silver designs.
Sterling Silver jewellery must be correctly cared for in order to slow down tarnishing. Clean your silver jewelry after wearing it. Oils from your skin accumulate on the surface of silver and can predispose it to oxidization. Use warm water to wash your jewelry items gently, and dry them with a soft cloth. You can also delay tarnishing by regularly polishing your silver jewellery with suitable clothes designed specifically for Sterling Silver.
Cleaning Gold Plated designs.
Keep gold-plated jewellery away from hard surfaces. Bumps and scratches will cause the gold layer to wear away faster. Store your gold-plated jewellery in a velvet lined jewellery box, or wrap it in a soft material that will prevent scratches. Lightly wipe your gold-plated jewellery with a damp cotton cloth. Gold plated jewellery is not designed to last a lifetime, however with regular care and preventing exposure to perfume, chemicals and lotions it will give you a good duration of wear.
